Private tutor in Dunwoody, GA
Education
Emory University - Bachelors, BS in Chemistry and BA in Music
Experience
I just earned my degree from Emory University, where I double majored in chemistry and music performance on violin. My next step is to pursue my PhD in organometallic chemistry or nano and materials chemistry. I'm interested in tutoring because I believe teaching others gives me a genuine, unrivaled opportunity to polish my skills in engaging with individuals and relaying information and knowledge to a diverse student population. I've had experiences in the past where I've been able to hone my leadership and communication skills, but none of these experiences hold a candle to tutoring. Through tutoring, I've experienced tremendous growth, both professionally and personally. I've become more organized and more meticulous with details. I've leveraged every opportunity that's come along, which has allowed me to improve and grow. My experiences have fostered a climate for me to thrive, and it's my goal to share the knowledge I've attained along the way with my students. I'm adept at teaching algebra, calculus, differential equations, geometry, math, statistics, trigonometry, chemistry, Spanish, and art. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy playing violin, yelping about new coffee shops in the Atlanta area, bowling, singing karaoke, and traveling to new countries. I currently reside in Stone Mountain, Georgia.
