Experience

I have a strong desire to help people of any age learn math and science and to truly understand it rather than trying to memorize and get through. I have been teaching for 16 years and I have tutored for several years. In math, I am interested in tutoring anything up to and including Algebra 1 and in science, I particularly enjoy helping students with chemistry.

I have many interests and hobbies. I read a lot of fiction, and I especially enjoy young adult literature and science based nonfiction. For exercise, I participate in Irish dance and indoor rock climbing. On the musical side, I sing in a choral singing group that performs about twice a year and I really enjoy that as well.
